ELIGIBILITY

  • Am I eligible for Duty Free Purchases?

Duty Free only applies to goods taken out of Mauritius on your departure. In order to be eligible for Duty Free, you must be at least 18 and have a valid passport, and valid ticket for travel by air or sea to a foreign airport or port.

  • Are Mauritian Citizens eligible for Duty Free Purchases?

Yes. Mauritius citizens over 18, who are travelling to an international destination, are eligible for Duty Free and must have a valid passport, and valid ticket for travel by air or sea to a foreign airport or port.

  • I am departing Mauritius on a cruise and wish to purchase duty free goods

We invite you to visit our Go Duty Free shop located at the Caudan Waterfront Mall in Port Louis, just a short stroll from the cruise terminal. See the location map on www.godutyfree.mu/our-shops. Sweety, our shop manager, and her team will be happy to meet you!

  • How do I know if a product is available?

All products displayed are available and the quantity in stock is shown on the product page.

  • How much time do you need to prepare my order?

We take 24 hours to prepare and deliver your order to the MCCI Tax Refund Counter at the SSR International Airport. This is why we cannot accept an order placed within 24 hours of your scheduled flight departure time.

  • How will my purchased goods be delivered?

All purchased goods will be delivered as hand luggage. The goods will be placed in a sealed bag and bottles without gift box will be packed with a protective sleeve for a safe flight.

COLLECTION

  • Where and when do I collect my Duty Free Purchases?

After passport and security control, proceed to the right side of the Departure hall. Your order will be available at the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Tax Refund Counter and you can collect your products up to 3 hours before your flight scheduled departure time.

  • Is the MCCI Tax Refund Counter always open for my delivery?

Yes. The MCCI Tax Refund Counter is open to service all scheduled flights departing Mauritius from SSR International airport.

  2. Create your account and ensure that you have filed in all required fields.

  2. Under the space provided to enter your password, click on “Forgotten Password”.
  3. Enter your email address and reset password.
  4. Check your inbox, a mail has been sent to you with the steps to follow.
