The delicate Seahorse Treasure Earrings are embellished with a beautiful creamy pearl drop.
Seahorses mate for life, with the male seahorse giving birth. The female deposits eggs in his kangaroo-like pouch and using his prehensile tail, he clings to a piece of coral or seagrass for several weeks during gestation. Each and every morning, his wife swims by to greet him and these oceanic lovebirds perform a dance ritual, changing color for several minutes to express their bond. Hundreds of fully developed baby seahorses will hatch.
