It is the result of a selection and combination of 40 malt and grain whiskies aged 12 years and over. Launched in the 1950s, Ballantine’s 12-year-old is recognized as an international reference in premium Scotch whiskies.
Boasting a golden hue with glints of amber, the nose reveals notes of honey, fruits, and iodine. The palate is creamy and chocolatey, with notes of sherry gradually developing. The finish is short and slightly smoky: perfect as an aperitif.

Ballantine’s 12-Year-Old 1L Blended Scotch has been aged for 12 years, which is slightly shorter than the average for Scotch whiskies. The age of this spirit refers to the youngest component of the blend, there may be parts that are much older. This blended Scottish Whisky contains no less than 57 types of malt whisky, which include the distinctive and ally-owned malts of Miltonduff and Glenburgie.
