Merlot has a strong influence on the profile of Pomerol wines. It has a beautiful, intense, and bright ruby color with light purple reflections. The nose is complex, intense, and of great finesse, with a dominant of ripe red fruits (cherry, plum). The wines of Pomerol are great wines for aging (some still improve 30 years after the vintage). With age, they will take on nuances of truffle, leather, and undergrowth. If the attack is frank, the density in the mouth is exceptional, all in-depth and elegant, with a powerful and round final.

Superb, elegant, refined. Inky dark in the glass, not much nose, buttery mouth but with stone structure and dark fruit notes.
