Rosé champagne is the only French rosé that can be made by blending red wine from Champagne and white wine. Another manufacturing technique, “bleeding”, consists in colouring the juice by leaving the skin of the black grapes on it. Long underestimated, rosé champagne is attracting more and more insiders, particularly because of its festive colour and the sweetness of its aromas.
